To receive a flu shot you must:
- Fit a minimum age requirement (if under 18 years old, see management)
- Not be on any antibiotic
- Not be suffering from active infection
- Not have an allergy to eggs
- Not have and allergy to Thimerosal, Gentamicin, or other Aminoglycosides
- Not be in the first trimester of pregnancy
- Have a physician's written prescription if you are in the second or third trimester of pregnancy
